Again, today post has nothing to do with the urban dictionary definition of double threat. I'm feeling rather in elf mood lately, I had this idea for quite a while and finally I found the reason to publish this look. Anyways here my answer Miss Berry's this week Monday Meme.

Two online screen names you've had: I had a lot before I settled with AaryaKiseki. One of them was GreyKitty cuz I love cats and I personally believe I have a white/black personality. Another was Black Snow coz I find it interesting to think of a pure white snowflake in black.

Two video games you've playes: PC or console? One of them? Both of them? But anyways I used to play Secrets of Solstice as my first pc MMORPG and right now I'm playing Dreams of Mirror Online with my sister, Ruby.

Two things you still want to do in Second Life: I've always wanted to learn mesh and start my own store but I'm sure that have to wait for a long time. I wanted to DJ in clubs too....

Berry's First and Recent Challenge

It's really embarrassing when I look back all my old pictures, but amusing to see how I improve myself in skills and technically wise. When I tried the snapshot features, it spazz my whole laptop and I used the screengrab feature of my laptop to take that picture. I enjoyed my adventures in Second Life and stalking Strawberry Singh's blog until I gathered enough courage to finally start my own blog back in April 2013.

Both of the picture are not photoshopped in any way and looking at it. I feel proud that I truly pushed my limits and explored many new things.

Throughout the blogging journey, I found great new friends, Awesome sims, events and designers who decorated the Second Life world. At first I wanted to be a gothic lolita blogger but then my style changed when I posted my first Phototelling for a contest. My inspiration clicked with me and I literally poured all my literacy juice on blogging. My blog will be 2 years old next month and I'm very grateful that I started that first step of blogging. I hope to be more creative in Phototelling and my skills. Cheers to all the residents that made Second Life colourful~

Another of Miss Berry's meme! This time it's The Black & White Portrait Challenge. Me who is a love-anything-black person, I tried to do it as fast as I could. The challenge was so simple and yet I struggle so much during the process.

The styling I'm wearing is based on one my most favorite MV, Black by G-Dragon that I embedded the video below. I tried to bring out the air of elegance with a touch of rebelness just like in the clip. I've been sorting the outfit since last year and now I have the absolute perfect reason to finally display it in it's imperfectness.

Honestly, I felt like the Black and White version is so cool and it reminds me so much of an old movie that I can't remember the name now. But anyways, I'm so glad to try out the new tutorial that I got from Xanthe's meme. The picture looks better than the usual desaturation I did before. Thank you, Xanthe! <3

Berry's New Year Meme

What a great way to start the month of love with a feat collab with my sis!

1. How did you spend New Year's Eve?

Aarya : I spent with my family, watching a midnight movie while listening to the loud fireworks outside. 

Ruby : I spent my new years with family, it wasn't a huge celebration we just huddled in the living room and watched the ball drop on the news just as if it were any normal midnight.

2. Did you keep any new years' resolution?

Aarya : This year I'm not keeping one but just get focusing in studying and be less easily distracted.

Ruby : Unfortunately I didn't make any resolutions this year except to acquire my drivers license before summer begins.

3. What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?

Aarya : Let's see, in RL I finally got a new phone after almost 4 years. It was a nice change for me. In SL, perhaps being more open of me being a Muslim and overcoming my fear of getting racist comments from others. I was really glad to have found Miss Berry's blog.

Ruby : My biggest achievement, if anything, was graduating high school, I'm finally away from most people who can't tell the difference between pi and pie. Although I can't speak much I'm no math wiz!

4. What was the best thing you bought?

Aarya : I never regretted of buying the Uchiha Sasuke mug that I got from the first cosplay convention I joined. My most prized jewel thing! Also I never regretted buying any stuff from [ni.ju] I wish I can buy all the piercings! [laughs]

Ruby : The best thing I bought was a couple tickets to Disneyland for grad night, I got to spend that whole day with my close mates and my still in tact love interest.

5. What do you wish you'd done more of?

Aarya : I wish I spent more time with my family. I've been away for college and barely have enough time interacting with them especially with my dad since he's always overseas for business.

Ruby : I wish I had more trust for those I felt that I've hurt due to my lack of concern and understanding, but since fall, my empathy has been ever growing.

6. What do you wish you'd done less of?

Aarya : Procrastinating, definitely. I really need to be LESS lazy and be more productive. [a little failing but there is a progress]

Ruby : I don't think there's anything that i felt I could have done less of, I always put my best foot forward when it was time to buckle down during everlasting assignments and on the job tasks. If anything I wish that I'd stay off the computer more and spend more time with my friends and family.

7. What was your favorite movie you watched this year?

Aarya : The Conjuring I think. I didn't have time much to go to cinemas at the mall. When I do go to malls with my friends, It's usually the singing room straight away. 

Ruby : The most interesting movie I watched this year was The Heat, it was the funniest movie I've seen in a while and I'm glad I watched it this year, I know it came out last year but, there's a first time for everything, hehe.

8. What did you do on your birthday this year?

Aarya : I would say this year's birthday was my favorite. My parents surprise me by driving to my dorm and followed our mall bus all the way. Bought us pizzas and spent time with me and my friends. My dad even sang together before heading back home. 

Ruby : I went to class on my birthday, had a very interesting philosophical discussion with my professor, and went out for Korean BBQ with a couple good friends of mine.

9. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned.

Aarya : I learned that, whatever happens, don't look at the bad side of it. There may be something good from it and be more self-confident.

Ruby : I learned that when encountering a problem, no matter what the situation may be, it's best to think from the other person's' perspective so that way you'd gain more of an insight on what they feel and how they're dealing with said situation

10. What does 2014 hold for you?

Aarya : I hope to be more relaxed and organized. I hoped to be more useful human being to my surrounding and not just believing in empty promises.

Ruby :  I feel that this year will be a peaceful one for me, even if drama always seems to find you in some way, it's best to take advantage of that and learn to turn such sad moments into great ones and to find the good within it. I'm happy to announce that I've just become a legal adult and with that I'm learning more about myself each day and one thing that I treasure I like about myself is that if I want something done right away it will get done, but I'm still a little impatient when it comes to certain things; but above all, I see myself accomplishing a lot of goals this year that I wish I could have done in 2013 if I had the chance.

I know I'm kinda late with this meme since I just came back from the recent CNY holiday. I loved having my family around and since it was a holiday, we celebrated in our own version of family gathering; a BBQ family day! It was 2 days straight of meat eating for me and I'm just fully stuffed from it! Now that I have 3 events lined for this months only aside from the Valentine stuff, let's get productive people! <3

Here I am, sneaking around when I suppose to study, haha~ But anyways I just couldn't resist to blog, it's a way of relieving stress for me. Ever since I start blogging, my depression time has lessen quite tremendously, I enjoy and look forward for events that I can cover, my inner dark fashionista just burst out of me and I really love it. I really wish to have more time to explore the pretty dark side of Second Life, one of the reason I want graduate quickly! Anyways onwards for the meme today~

3. Do you wear underwear/pantied underneath your clothing when out and about on the grid? If it's necessary so that no prevert would zoom up my skirt, I will. But usually I wear pant-style clothing so I'm quite naked underneath those meshy clothing~ ;P

4. If you won a million linden dollars, what would be the first thing you buy inworld? First thing first, everything on my favourite list! [laughs] And then perhaps a house somewhere on the grid since my sis is very much interested in home decor. I totally suck at that!

5. Have you ever bought something in SL and the realized afterwards that you had already owned it before? Well... it's usually when I do MP shopping and come across with a lot of freebies then logging in to get it just to find out than you got like three of four similar items. Good thing it's just freebies and dollarbies for now.

6. Have you ever done anything in Second Life that would be considered illegal in real life? Biting people randomly would probably get me to jail in real life. Strutting down the grid with a rocket launcher at my back will consider me crazy and dangerous. Shooting people randomly and a bunch more that I rather not to tell... ;P

7. If you could go out on a date with any other avatar, who would it be? My super deep vampire crush, Winter Jefferson.

8. Who, in your opinion, was the greatest avatar to ever slive? Miss Strawberry Singh~

9. What is the most embarrassing things you've ever done inworld? I don't really remember much, but when I was newbie, I hung out at The Shelter, chatting and dancing. The whole time I didn't realize my speaker was on and I talking to my friend in my original language. So everybody was like, "Who the hell talking?" "I;m hearing weird sounds" and I was clueless since I mute the SL sound to listen to my own songs. After a while I knew what happened and just kept my mouth shut.

10. If your avatar had a mind of its own, what do you think it would say to you? "Gurl, hurry up and make up your mind already!" -This is since I take the longest time to figure out my styling and choosing a background for my pic-

Berry's Introspection Meme

After I read Miss Berry's Introspection Meme as well as My Reflection post from her blog, sometimes I get that feeling where you look back into your life and wonders the 'what ifs'. Happens a lot to me especially when I go to sleep, I have a habit of over-thinking when I lay back on my bed and I know a lot of us do this as well. My avatar is what I wanted to be from real life, mainly I could express myself more virtually than in real. My friends always observe this habit of mine, where I'm pretty much spunky virtually but quite in reality.  I tend to spend more time in games I play rather than going outside. I try to change this attitude but it takes a long time for me.

My avatar don't affect me much but I do really get addicted to SL too much. Of course with the semester examination is tomorrow and I'm here writing on my blog. [Get your damn ass to study Aarya!!] Hahaha! So I really want to make this one post before I bury myself in notes so get along now~

1. Regardless of your current number, how old do you actually feel? I'm currently 19 years old, which many consider very young. I tend to feel different when in situation, I feel older when I'm at college or with my extended family but of course, when your at home, your mom just would never stop baby you and perhaps that why I can never feel older than 17 years old at my own home! I learn that when you're away from home, you will learn more about being independent to yourself and start making life decision. 

2. Which is worse, failing or never trying? Never trying, really what kills more than being a corner with your mind over-thinking about 'I should do that' 'What if' and those stuff. I don't know about you guys but that really kills me. Mainly why my friends call me brave 'coz I like to try everything that I can get my hands on! xD

3. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life different? Perhaps, having 21 years more to live, I would surely would everything to make my dreams come true. That is publishing my own manga and anime. [I'm an otaku, yeah]

4. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? I'm more into doing the right things in things. Yeah, of course I focus on doing it right as well. Get it?

5. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? I really am... a joyful simpleton. As to what my friends always see in me. I tend to relax even though there is something big going on and take it slow and mellow. And I pretty much hate that attitude of mine 'coz I become so lazy to do anything. Somebody please cure me!

6. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend? I've been trying to be everything what I want as a friend. Being there and being joyful but always there when you're sad and all. Though I can't help but to feel lonely sometimes. I try to reach out when my friends need so but then I could never reach out to others about my own feelings until I reach the breaking point. Another bad habit of mine. :D

7. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now? What I only remember 5 years ago is when I cried so hard that my dad commented about my grades. It wasn't what he expected. Now when I think back, it seem silly of to have a tantrum just from that. [*blush]

8. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive? I think it was when I joined the national boot camp after high school. That 3 months period of extreme military-like work-out as well as meeting new friends from all parts of the country made me more aware and reflect in life since that was the first time I was away from home more than 2 days. 

9. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job? The answer perhaps is what every teenager would say, OH NOW I WON'T HAVE TO WORK ALL MY LIFE! Yeah... no. I might have that desire but I like to have that hard-earned money to spend on things I like so that I would appreciate it more. Plus, when you have everything that you want just like that, won't it feel bored after that when you have nothing to chase after? ;D

10. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today? I could never choose. I love my family. I love my friends. My friend has been more than a family for me. I would probably make a huge reunion party and invite everyone that I have come across in my life, real and virtually, and thank each of them for making my life a meaningful one even it's just a small part.

11. What do you feel is the difference between being alive and truly living? 
Being alive: wake up, shower, eat breakfast, go to school/work, do your stuff in school/work, come back home, do more work/homework, watch t.v, eat dinner, sleep, rinse and repeat. 

Truly living: You wake up from bed excited of you will do today and wonders about the challenge that throw in your path. Being able to do what you really want and being super satisfied from it even though you only accomplish a small thing in life. With all your creativity flowing out like water and being inspired by everything in life. Of course, loving people just the way they are.

12. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake? In every way, we do learn from mistakes, even from when we were newborn until now, we learn. Of course, when we make mistakes, we feel guilty, shameful and powerless, those feelings isn't really nice things to have so I think that is why we tend to be so afraid to make mistakes even though it teaches us to be more determine cautious. 

13. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you? If the things are actually right thing, I would. Many things are done differently simply because of social pressure and such. People want that and don't want thing and blah blah blah. Communities think too much about what other think of them. In real, I could not do things as I like from family demand. I understand since I'm the only child so they want the best for me. In SL of course, I give a big, fat, GOODBYE and ignore them. Hehe

14. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? Be happy and think more of yourself but never be selfish. NEVER!

Berry's Autumn Challenge

Hello there! It's been a long while since I last take up Miss Berry's Monday Memes. College is pretty taking so much energy from me. I can't wait to step down from being a part of the Student Council and finally make time for myself.

1. Is autumn your favorite season? Why or why not?
  Aarya: I live in equatorial Asian country so we don't have the similar 4 seasons as the Norths. But I always loved the colors of the autumn where the leaves changes and fall like snowflake.
  Ruby: I love Autumn, it's the only season of the year where everyone get's excited about wearing new fashions, and I just can't wait to go out and buy my first Pea coat.

2. Do you call it Autumn or Fall?
 Aarya: Most of the time I call it Autumn.
 Ruby: I call it Fall.

3. What kind of weather does your area get during this season?

Aarya: During this time, the change of wind between North and South creates a raining season in my 

country so it's constantly wet and cool. And sometimes it gets pretty cold at night.

 Ruby:Where I live it's pretty warm during the day, but during the evening, it starts to get cold, really fast.

4. Which color do you always associate with autumn?

 Aarya: Brown, Orange and pale Green

I felt bad to dragging my sis until early morning while at my time is just early afternoon but she always said that she didn't mind and always loved to spend time with me. It was the first time that I tried to dress up as a normal person rather than my usual outfits of ex-convict, freak-ish or psycho-maniac when we go shopping. Berry's Exploring Second Life Meme

It's Monday and Ms Berry has a new meme challenge for us! This time it's about out favorite place on the Grid. I'll admit the places that I will showcase, are places that I only go when I'm stressed out and wanting some time-out since most of the time I usually hang out at my clan's sim or camping out at a Lucky Letter. I barely have time to explore much of the expanding Second Life because of my college time. I could only get on when there are events that I wanted to blog about or to some party that I wanted to go.

My fellow blogger friend took me to this sim when he was preparing for a blog post. I fell in love with this right away! I love the music here and often this sim is my gate-away from the dramas. I always found myself wondering around looking at new stuffs that the vendors and sometimes I sit down at the garden, just to enjoy the music and the pretty decorations. Beside the amazing elegant Victorian-styled architecture, the sim also has lots of shops that sells Gothly clothings that suits everyone's taste! Do visit the sim when you need some finishing touches of your Gothly attire <3

Never Totally Dead - SLurl -

Never Totally Dead is a mainstore that sells Gothical decorative for houses. Also this sim was introduced to me by a friend that was following Midsummer Hunt back then and he tp-ed me over since I was moaning complained about not having the perfect background for a masquerade picture. And again I fell in love with the music they install here, I kept coming back just for it! They sells some pretty furnishes that would be a perfect additional to your homes. If you join their group, they give out group gifts of decorative products occasionally for you~

So there's a little insight of what I love on the Grid. I hope I can get in-world much longer and explore the dreams of other people as well. I have a long list of places that I wanted to visit during my holidays. I hope you enjoyed my little rambling of my favorite place, I wanted to see some of yours and adding up to my never ending list of visiting place. Haha!

Hmm... I'm very fascinated in everything dark-ish and scary. I love going to cemeteries and actually saw a ghost during my childhood (I won't tell the story though). I'm quite what they say a weird girl that like snakes and spiders, things like that. But as much as I love skulls, I just can't stand to see it in real.

Yes, I love skull prints but I'm deathly scared to skulls in real. I had a very very bad experience during childhood where my cousins prank-ed me on a blackout night. I still couldn't make myself to look at it anymore. What more, in one of the labs of college, there's a skeleton hanging there and my luck, I'm sitting right in front of it. Gladly enough, the skeleton is facing its side and I don't need to cover my eyes from fear.  Though strangely enough in my previous blog post, I looked comfortable with skulls.

Well then, that is one my fears. I seemed to have fears with other stuff like being alone, having to lost my senses (like my right hand, it's my precious drawing hand lol), losing all my book collection and might be the biggest of all, having my computer memory wiped off. O_O

I just hate when my laptop just decide to be slow when I'm super rushing with everything. It's so frustrating. Couldn't help with the raining season beating down over here that makes the internet incredibly laggy. I'm at the mercy of the Mother Nature! I'm a part of a big vampire family community even though I don't participate much in the chats, the members are always ready when I needed their help. It warms me how people connects with each other in this big community.

7. Are you usually around a lot of people or do you spend most of your time alone inworld? Usually I would hang out with my family and chat with them. But when I wanted to make a blog post, I tend to be alone at my studio or sims, snapping pictures and stuff. But of course I would always try to see if I could include them in pictures.

My SL Guilty Confession Meme

Confession... an act of spewing out the things that keeps making your chest tightening and heavy when you think you're the only one doing it.

I think I got that wrong somehow but anyways, I was actually planning to make a post about MadPea pretty sim before the demolition and the most awesome thing is I spend about an hour re-logging and being kicked to a save spot every time I tried to tp over WITHOUT even knowing that the land is gone. I was suppose to make the photo shoot with my friend and she was just laughing when I told her. \(///Σ///)\

In RL life, I was once a bully in early high-school days -insertshockingsound- and so hence the shirt that I'm wearing. But after a long while I grew tired of it and just make it up with him. Sadly, we have lost contact when he changed school. And another thing, I love to draw. I have tons of stories in my head. The problem is when I start a comic, there is 100% chance of it being neglected in 2 months. I'm just that lazy.

1. I have an obsession with BLACK - I would say about 85% of my clothing is black. Some red, blue, grey, (and pinks which is a gift from a friend and I just didn't have a heart to delete it) whites a little. But yeah mostly black. I have a liking towards dark fashions like Gothics, Steampunks, DarkCyber and all. And a little more, I get jealous when I meet a person that has more items than me and they are waaay younger than me even though I shouldn't (which reminds me of my summer-cleaning-inventory week).

2. I like taking pictures of other players - Sometimes with permission, sometimes not. Funny pictures or crazy unthinkable styles. Sometimes its just to remind myself not to ever wear like that in rl or in-world. But of course all of it is stored very nicely in my head, I won't spill it, it won't be funny anymore. I might need to practice more of my stalking skill for the upcoming SL10B event maybe?

3. I use Cyber Cafe to play SL - Ding! Dong! You got it, all of the nice pictures are made from the computers of cyber cafe and I just being thankful like crazy for the cyber cafe being so near to my dorm. My dorm net barely even supports my FB game and so how can I play SL all the time? BUT summer is here and I could come home and spend more time in SL. Yay!!!

Ok enough blabbering or this post will be longer than I planned to. My confession are just spurting out from my mind and maybe I'll make part 2(maybe not) of this meme since my such-a-genius brain always decide to think the best part/stories when I want to sleep and I will always forget in the next morning. ヽ(#ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ┌┛Σ(ノ´Д`)ノ
